Keep it classy
Going to spend your holiday in a luxury hotel is always a good idea once you have the money for it, but if it is your first time spending time in luxury hotels, you might feel a little overwhelmed. An advice that I always give people is to expect everything to be done for you. There’s nothing that screams that you have no idea what you are doing more than not expecting the bell boy to carry your bags, the doorman to open the doors for you or the driver to open the car door before you go out. These people will also expect a tip. What I like to do is tip them the first time they do anything for me and then let them know that you’ll give them a larger tip by the end of your stay.
Another thing to remember is that things take their time, and nobody is really in any rush to do anything. That is why elevators are a little slower, because that makes the ride more comfortable, and that’s also why room service takes a little more time preparing your dinner, because it is prepared done in good time and in good quality.
